Dr. George Lien

Dr. George Lien has called Murfreesboro home since 1991. He is a board certified neurosurgeon who specializes in minimally invasive surgery (MISS) for neurological disorders of the spine for patients over the age of 16. The benefit of MISS is an incision about the size of a dime with less damage to surrounding tissues which results in less down time.
He received his Degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Lien enjoys the time he spends with each patient listening and discussing their individual care and treatment.
Outside of the office he enjoys running, golfing and spending time with friends and family.
