Dr. Hampf was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where he enjoyed skiing every winter. He attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry. He then went to Vanderbilt University for his medical degree. He has had an active practice in Nashville for over 30 years. He has been the Chief Medical Officer at the St Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery since 2014. He enjoys flying, skiing, golf, fishing, and spending time with his family.
